New World

I’m always up
Even when the sun goes down
My goals chase me down
In my dreams
Thus, living alone, in those hours
In a ‘new world’
Some call it the dreamland;
I’m not for that notion though
It’s my new world
I enjoy me in there
Work on your smartness before you visit
For it houses no lethargic beings
Things just pop at you
Both the positives and negatives

Oh yh, I love it when I’m the hero
But it pays though
Sometimes it’s more dreadful
Than the movies you call ‘horror’
What’s blood???
I’ve had lots of fun with that
All in attempt to rescue some of you torpid pals

Often times I wonder how some of you get in there
Oh gosh, those security agents were bribed
Still no self respect even after their salary hike?
Maybe I have to accept it as an element of Ghanaian culture
Ma’ma, I’ll hold you accountable
My bringing up was sketchy
I won’t inform the corps though; I’ll see the traditional rulers
I will forever love my new world
How’s the experience? I thought
For perfect words, I sought
To convert these picturesque scenes into a “.docx” file
It feels good to be engulfed in riches
What’s your dream?
I’ve had all of that
Dinero in all forms I’ve possessed
That’s my new world.
